Who Should Attend
Education professionals including teachers, educational assistants, child and youth workers, social workers, psychologists, occupational therapists, audiologists and speech-language pathologists, physiotherapists, student support staff as well as administrators and office staff. The program is also suitable for healthcare professionals who work with children and teens. Previous experience with mindfulness is not required.

This 20-hour program is delivered in a workshop setting, and is offered in a compressed format for the summer. It consists of four, 5-hour sessions (this time includes a daily lunch break), a 4-hour silent retreat, and requires home practice. Classes are limited to 12 participants.
Certificate of Completion
Successful participants receive a certificate of completion from UBC’s Faculty of Education.
Fee: $350 (+HST)
You must provide a minimum of 5 business days’ notice prior to the program’s start date to receive the full tuition less a $50 fee. If you provide less than 5 business days’ notice prior to the start date of a program, no refund will be issued. Once the program has begun no refunds will be issued.
