Information Session

Mindfulness is everywhere these days thanks to a wellspring of media attention touting the outcomes of the latest academic or clinical study. But, is it really as effective as we’re being led to believe? Learn to separate fact from fiction where mindfulness is concerned at one of our info nights.

This free, one-hour information session, offered monthly, gives individuals who are curious about mindfulness a chance to learn more about this beneficial and life-affirming practice. The session will outline what mindfulness is and is not, and address concerns that might act as barriers to learning mindfulness meditation. This is an informal group with focus given to questions and answers, but time will be given to experience a taste of mindful breathing and mindful movement exercises.

This session is free and open to the general public. Registration is required as space is limited.
